Project: Letcliffe Farm

- A Cottage Haven

At Andy and Jenny’s lovely cottage garden, we were asked to construct an attractive and unique storage solution. We designed and hand crafted the building to house their gardening equipment and provide a place for Jenny to pot plants.

Thrilled with our design, the brief soon grew to incorporate a firewood store and composting bin. Reclaimed stone flags were lovingly squared and laid to provide a fine, fitting setting and outdoor dining area. We created more privacy by replacing an old fence with a taller drystone wall. A gate was hand-made to compliment the shed joinery.

To improve wheelchair access, the gateway to the garden was moved allowing a curvaceous path with a gentler gradient through the flower beds.

Not just a shed…

  • Sett details every 1.5m

  • Crisp metal Everedge keeps a clean line between the path and flower beds.
